Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute Operations events, including operations resource planning for designated units.
- Serve as a back-up Event team member during Turnarounds and Unit Shut-downs.
- Monitor TA/SD execution, instruct shift teams accordingly, and report on progress.
- Act as the liaison between Operations and 3rd parties/suppliers regarding operational support for assigned Turnarounds and Shut-downs.
- Optimize Shut-down, Start-up, and Clearing work instructions for the designated area.
- Review, correct, and improve assigned Operations NMS Work Procedures.
- Review Shift Team Operations Shut Down Instructions to ensure all scope is covered.
- Communicate and train shift teams regarding upcoming events.
- Collaborate closely with all Internal & External stakeholders.
Requirements
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering or similar qualification.
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with 3 years of supervisory experience OR Higher NITEC with 5 years of supervisory experience OR GCE ‘O’ level with 8 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in a Petrochemical /Refinery Environment is essential.
