Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall cost control strategy, frameworks, and process to ensure effective financial oversight across projects and departments

Lead, coach, and develop a team of cost control professionals, building capability in cost analytics, governance and reporting
Promote cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Procurement, Project Control, and Business Control teams
Champion a culture of cost discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement across functions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong focus on financial reporting and compliance
Proven experience managing accounts of large and complex entities
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a demonstrated desire to probe deeper into data to uncover insights that reveal underlying issues
In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
Experience in the offshore, marine or energy industries and accounting knowledge of long-term construction contracts are highly preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with SAP S4 Hana and Power Query is a plus
