Key Responsibilities
- Continuously develop production processes in mid and long-term to ensure safety, high operational availability, productivity, utilization, efficiency, and flexibility.
- Define Basis of Design (BOD) and Unit Specific Tolerances (UST), setting operating limits for assigned units.
- Conduct test runs, identify bottlenecks, develop solutions, and manage capital investments during early project lifecycle phases.
- Support operations in troubleshooting major process challenges and investigating high-risk non-conformances.
- Improve process safety by facilitating risk assessments and managing action development and implementation.
- Serve as the Singapore refinery representative in the global technology team, sharing best practices from Rotterdam and Porvoo refineries.
- Provide technical support for unit turnarounds, including shutdowns, catalyst change-outs, investments, and start-ups.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated understanding of Renewable products chemical processing unit operations and engineering.
- At least five years of work experience in process engineering and operations within the oil and gas, refining, or petrochemical industry.
- Strong interpersonal and planning skills.
- High safety standards and strong influencing skills.
- Ability to influence within a global matrix organization with cultural awareness.
