Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead in statistics and experimental design, collaborating with algorithm developers, software engineers, molecular biologists, and product managers.
- Contribute to and guide the development of bioinformatics pipelines for genomic and other data analysis.
- Develop robust statistical models to support research, product development, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory and quality standards in a production environment.
- Translate R&D concepts into scalable, production-ready workflows.
- Guide projects from conception through delivery and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Requirements
- PhD with 4+ years, Master’s with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Degree in, or extensive practical experience with, Statistics or a closely related field.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and experimental design.
- Strong experience in statistical modeling is required.
- Proficiency in R or SAS.
- Experience developing, testing, and documenting solutions in regulated environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and collaborate across disciplines.
