Key Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Automated Material Handling Systems to ensure smooth and continuous material flow.
- Monitor AMHS performance via control systems and dashboards.
- Respond promptly to system alarms and faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on conveyors, OHT (Overhead Transport), stockers, hoists, and related subsystems.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as per schedule and checklists.
- Conduct inspections and routine servicing of mechanical, electrical, and sensor components.
- Replace worn or faulty parts such as belts, motors, sensors, and actuators.
- Identify causes of AMHS malfunctions using diagnostic tools and system logs.
- Escalate complex issues to AMHS Engineers or OEM support as needed.
- Pass down all repair and troubleshooting activities accurately.
- Assist in start-up and shutdown procedures of the AMHS.
- Support lot recovery operations and ensure safe transport of materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical certification required.
- Ability to work at height using ladders mobile platforms and safety harness.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
- Work at height certified.
- 1–3 years of experience working with automation equipment or AMHS systems in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in Standard or swing shift.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
- Experience with systems such as Daifuku, Muratec, or similar AMHS vendors.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols (for semiconductor fabs).
- Basic understanding of SECS/GEM interactions.
