Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and safe operations within the plant environment.
- Monitor processes, safety parameters, and report any non-conformities alongside Senior Technicians.
- Conduct field patrols to monitor potential emissions into the atmosphere, ground, or wastewater and implement preventive actions.
- Collect process samples according to the routine schedule.
- Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on equipment undergoing maintenance activities.
- Participate in the Permit To Work (PTW) issuance process, including Cold Work and Hot Work permits.
- Monitor the condition of process equipment and facilities to maintain high availability.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in operating areas.
Requirements
- Higher Nitec in Chemical Process Technology / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo shift duties (12 hours, 2-2-3 pattern).
- Ability to work in a confined space environment if required.
- Must pass health examination including drug test and security clearance.
- Relevant experience may be considered for candidates without an equivalent engineering diploma.
