Key Responsibilities
- Develop RTL code for digital designs using Verilog or SystemVerilog
- Perform functional verification of digital designs using simulation tools
- Collaborate with architecture and verification teams to define design specifications
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design correctness
- Support synthesis, timing analysis, and physical design handoff
- Debug design issues and implement fixes throughout the design flow
- Ensure designs meet power, performance, and area (PPA) targets
- Document design specifications, test plans, and verification results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog for RTL design
- Experience with functional verification methodologies and simulation tools (e.g., VCS, Questa)
- Understanding of digital design fundamentals: finite state machines, pipelining, timing
- Experience with synthesis and static timing analysis (STA) tools
- Knowledge of UVM or similar verification methodologies is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and architecture documents
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities in a collaborative environment
- Experience with FPGA prototyping or ASIC design flow is preferred
