Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for projects, operations, including drilling, production, maintenance, and engineering projects
- Liaise with internal teams (engineering, projects, operations) to understand procurement needs and specifications
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize costs and performance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement records
- Track and expedite orders to meet project timelines and minimize downtime
- Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation related to the supply chain
- Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review
Requirements
- Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, will be an added advantage
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
