Key Responsibilities

  • Sustain and improve equipment performance indices to meet operational goals, while providing first-line technical support during rotating/swing shifts
  • Perform preventive maintenance and Level 1 & 2 troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Setup a system to ensure un-interrupted supply of dummy wafers/ chemicals/ coater cups
  • Control and optimize spare parts inventory to minimize cost without undue equipment down time due to parts not available
  • Document preventive maintenance and recovery procedures, track machine performance, and review data to support continuous improvement
  • Forecast preventive maintenance schedule and spares/ consumables usage
  • Ensure calibration of measuring instruments are done timely and within specs
  • Familiar with ISO standards requirements and ensure that the section meets them
  • Involve in machine Part repair and R&M reduction activities for self-sufficiency
  • Ensure good 6S housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab
  • Establish communication channel with Mother FAB to transfer BKM and perform benchmarking
  • Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Basic engineering knowledge, which may include semiconductor devices theory, electronics, electrical/ pneumatic/ hydraulic control system, digital principle and wafer fabrication processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft business applications
  • Able to take pressure under time-constrained situations
