Key Responsibilities
- Design of Power Management Integrated Chips (PMICs) and Power Management Units (PMUs) for a variety of smart phones, IoT, automotive, and ASIC applications
- Design includes DC-DC converters, Low drop-out linear voltage regulators (LDOs), Switch-capacitor regulators, reference, clock generators and power on reset (POR) generators
- Realize IC layout with floor planning and performance considerations (with layout engineers)
- Testing & Debugging of IC prototypes (with system verification engineers)
- Continual support / debug of field related issues or customer IC rejects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering / Computer Science with more than 6 years' IC Design experience or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering / Computer Science with more than 4 years' IC Design experience
- Experience with Cadence IC design tools
- Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters (DMMs) and e-load
- Deep understanding on device physics, device reliability analysis, package, and PCB design considerations
- Capability of design and debugging on switching regulator, LDO, reference, clock, and POR generators
