Key Responsibilities
- Design and review functional system specifications for energy infrastructure and electrification related project
- Perform topside power system designs of energy infrastructure. Operational Philosophy, Design Calculations, Detail Engineering Drawings
- Perform sizing analysis for new build/retrofits of electric vessels
- Lead the compliance towards grid/transmission requirements
- Stakeholder engagements for overall project design update and engagement
- Plan, coordinate and execute energy infrastructure EPC and energy storage implementation
- Must be able to work towards departmental objectives in the day-to-day environment and be adaptable to changing priorities and assignments
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in marine/mechanical/electrical engineering disciplines
- Good knowledge of marine energy infrastructure design inclusive of energy storage system, smart grid & micro grid implementation
- Prior experiences in grid tie project development/execution
- Familiar with design, review and simulation of energy infrastructure applications
- Familiar with IEC/IEEE standards for energy infrastructure and energy storage applications
- Prior experiences in design and execution of marine/landbased power systems
- Prior experiences of LV/MV switching, variable frequencies drives or uninterruptible power supplies operations
- Able to understand SLD & Schematics Drawings
- Good knowledge of protection scheme of power system
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess inquisitive and learning mindset
- Familiar with basic office software
