Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day finance leadership for FP&A and business partnership for country's operating teams to drive business while also optimizing commercial performance.
- Collaborate with commercial business partners, country and regional division finance teams to ensure key deliverables and timelines for business reviews / submissions are met. Build templates to facilitate efficient and effective planning, reconciliation and reviews.
- Understand the business, track and analyse monthly forecasts vs actuals for backlog, bookings and revenue by accounts, market segments or business units, providing quality financial analysis and insights on business drivers.
- Communicate key risks and opportunities, identify corrective actions and partner with commercial business partners to meet/exceed growth targets.
- Participate actively and be the voice of Finance, supporting Sales and collaborating across functions to drive business results.
- Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR), annual operating plan (AOP) and long range strategic plan (STRAP) in a matrixed environment, ensuring financial decisions support company goals while cognizant of prevailing market conditions.
- Support pricing and commercial terms analysis for new and existing businesses.
- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Share best practices.
- Use Hyperion Planning for loading of forecast and planning financial numbers, where applicable.
- Continuously establish, update, improve and implement compliance-related internal control system and SOPs, ensure company's compliance requirements are carried through the company, employees and external business partners.
- Provide support on compliance-related matters. Monitor behaviour of employees and external business partners against company integrity rules and report findings to leadership.
- Support / handle implementation of compliance programs. Uphold compliance and keep commercial teams aware / in line with company and accounting guidelines, especially in relation to deal structure and transactions with customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in commercial finance or FP&A, and at least 6 years of experience in a large global company.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, hands-on and meticulous. Good personal efficiency to prioritize or initiate escalation where needed.
- Keen learner with an inquisitive mind, good commercial sense and comfortable handling ambiguity at times.
- Strong verbal and written communication, with good interpersonal skills / ability to influence across divisions and functions.
- Able to work under pressure, in a complex matrix environment.
- Able to handle highly critical information with absolute confidentiality and integrity.
- Applied knowledge of various reporting systems (e.g. Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning), business and AI tools (e.g. SFDC, Power BI, Robotic Process Automation, ChatGPT) would be an advantage.
