Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee Production Engineering projects to ensure timely and efficient execution
Plan, allocate, and monitor resources to meet project schedules and operational targets
Implement, monitor, and analyze monthly departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Review engineering drawings to ensure production feasibility and hull structural efficiency
Interpret ship design drawings and prepare Production Engineering (PE) deliverables
Ensure timely issuance of PE deliverables and AFC drawings in accordance with project schedules
Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, NUPAS, TEKLA) for 2D/3D modeling and nesting software (e.g., NESITX, ALMA CAM) to optimize material usage
Coordinate with design engineers and production teams to clarify technical specifications
Implement and maintain departmental operating procedures aligned with organizational goals
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality
Monitor compliance with Owner’s specifications, Classification Society requirements, international standards, and the Company’s Quality Management System
Investigate and rectify Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement preventive measures

Requirements

Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent field
Ability to work outside regular working hours, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, or night shifts, when required by operational needs
Willingness to travel to other work sites or overseas, when required for business purposes
Knowledge of supervisory and team management principles
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Relevant technical competencies required to perform the job scope
