Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all tagging requirements and associations for engineering and supplier documentation/drawing are appropriate to the 'type of tag
  • Participates in discussions and meetings to understand client and internal project requirements for data collection, reporting, and turnover, and provides updates on data turnover and final delivery/handover
  • Coordinates with section lead to resolve inconsistent, missing, or incorrect tag and data information, and maintains a log for data issues and project resolution
  • Creates data completion (progress) and quality reports in the Client’s information management system as per project requirement, providing weekly reports on progress, issues, and other arising matters
  • Participates in seminars and educational opportunities to stay abreast of latest technologies and developments in project management information systems, recommending process improvements
  • Monitors and analyzes occurring and recurring problems, developing trends to identify critical and common problems, and justifying areas for further improvements
  • Consolidates feedback from stakeholders and provides professional responses to improve project information management system delivery processes, tools, and service capabilities

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Engineering project (Piping or Instrument discipline)
  • Experience in data and document control management for FPSO/FPU Project in onshore/offshore and Oil & Gas
  • Familiar with project information management system related software (i.e. Aveva Engineering, Hexagon SDX or EDWS (SQL), and PIM (non SQL))
  • Experience with data or document related software (i.e. PIM, iDocs, Project Tools, and able to assist in creating progress and quality reports in Clients' Information Management system)
  • Knowledge and experience in Data and Documentation for Operation (DFO)/ Vital Document & Data (VDD) activities for the project
