Key Responsibilities

  • Build the annual revenue, bookings and operating expense Annual Operating Plan (AOP) alongside the commercial teams ensuring accountability is appropriately assigned and all parties are engaged
  • Support the five-year strategic planning (STRAP) process for CDD and SDG
  • Lead SDG APJ financial consolidation and act as the primary liaison between countries and Group, driving planning, forecasting, and performance management in alignment with regional and global priorities
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to CDD commercial leader and support APJ SDG business, delivering insights and guidance to support planning, forecasting, and performance management
  • Forecasting – Owns the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accountability and accuracy, including defined risks and opportunities
  • Support the weekly revenue Pulse check and review cadences, providing the leaders with meaningful insights
  • Work on other ad hoc tasks as required like deal margin analysis etc
  • Develop strong business partner relationships resulting in improved insights and results
  • Proactive and timely communication of insightful commercial performance information on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to drive successful achievement of the monthly and quarterly target expectations
  • Provides robust insights into variances through volume, price, product mix and product margin analysis, translate findings and drive practical solutions
  • Collaborate with teams on new business tenders & pricing quotes, and existing business re-quotes, using business experience to question the approach & make proposals to ensure optimum pricing & margins to align with the strategic goals
  • Drive improved commercial process controls, especially pricing

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification and /or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • 5-7 years' experience in business/commercial finance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to present business proposals concisely to senior audiences
  • Experience with matrixed organization and geographically dispersed teams
  • Establishes and maintains successful customer relationships (internal and/or external)
  • Take ownership of results
