Key Responsibilities
- Lead V&V activities for new and change validation of instrumentation utilizing Capillary Electrophoresis, PCR, qPCR, and other molecular biology methods.
- Represent the verification and validation function on a project core team.
- Plan and conduct experiments using molecular biology methods, including DNA sequencing, PCR, qPCR, and gel electrophoresis.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and data throughout projects.
- Design and conduct experiments independently, including writing detailed procedures, protocols, and reports.
- Recommend and execute internal changes to processes, procedures, or products within the department.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar (at upper second-class level) with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Fresh Ph.D. candidates are welcome to apply.
- Extensive hands-on experience with molecular biology methods is required.
- Proven hands-on experience with Capillary Electrophoresis for Sanger sequencing and fragment analysis is mandatory.
- Proficiency in experimental design, execution, and data analysis.
- Strong laboratory knowledge of assay development best practices.
- Proficiency in maintaining good laboratory and documentation practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
