Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the management of the 3D model to be controlled at Engineering –with the modeling work being carried out in all oversea satellite offices.
Responsible for setting up of AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D Enterprise system for projects in line with company and project procedures within the stipulated time while starting up the project, managing the AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D system of various projects and continuous technical support.
Responsible for development and implementation of project specific Catalogues and Specifications for piping & pipe supports, structural, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines in AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D and setting up of project specific drawing templates in the drafting module of AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D.
Monitors the integrity of the 3D model global work share database and its activities is well maintained and regular transfer of information from 3D model to other IT systems is functioning properly as expected.
Develop project specific modelling procedure and set up the 3D model accordingly. Conduct regular trainings to multi-discipline end users of the 3D modelling required based on the client specifications and company standards.
Work closely with the discipline leads of the projects to understand their requirements and address their demand for on time Development or Customization required to automate tasks, Drawing Templates, Macros, Isometrics, and Interface to other system.
In case of any technical challenges, troubleshoot to resolve the issues on time and if required escalate issues and work with the Software vendor’s technical support for AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D in other locations for quick resolution.
Be familiar with the workflows of all the IT systems implemented in the project. Proactive in providing input to IT Personnel and highlight in advance if there are any technical challenges.
Coordinate actively with other oversea offices, for the projects executed from multiple locations, attend meetings and communicate effectively.
Flexible and ready to assume additional roles like CAD Systems coordinator, D-Eng Lead in a project.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines
Minimum experience of 3-5 years in CAD Systems Administration for Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas, and Offshore projects.
Possess experience in AVEVA MARINE / Hexagon Smart3D, with in-depth knowledge of all relevant modules.
Familiar with the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of offshore projects.
