Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) and monitor its processes for compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with Process Owners to establish and improve processes to achieve compliance and excellence.
- Manage document control, including drafting, reviewing, and preparing documents for management review.
- Conduct and facilitate internal audits, as well as assist in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits.
- Lead actions required for the closure of audit items and manage quality events, including execution of resulting corrective actions.
- Conduct training on QA and/or Operational Compliance processes for staff.
- Prepare and compile quality metrics for monthly and quarterly reporting to laboratory management.
- Ensure the achievement and maintenance of key accreditations (HCSA, CAP) for the laboratory.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in a related Science discipline.
- Prior experience achieving and maintaining an HCSA-licensed laboratory with CAP accreditation is required.
- Proven ability to maintain and uphold a QMS.
- Strong sense of integrity, dependability, and results orientation with urgency.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and entities within the Mirxes group.
- Experience in clinical laboratory QA is desired.
