Key Responsibilities
- Partner with external advisors and internal stakeholders on the implementation and ongoing management of the Group's transfer pricing policies.
- Coordinate and prepare transfer pricing documentations for the Group to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
- Advise cross-functional stakeholders (Expansion, Business Development, Operations) on potential tax implications of proposed initiatives and suggest global solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local tax requirements, including the review and/or preparation of tax returns where appropriate.
- Identify control weaknesses and operational gaps related to tax in existing processes and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Monitor, manage, and assist in any tax audit process and/or tax queries from tax authorities, where applicable.
- Monitor developments in indirect tax policies across markets and proposed policy changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and/or Finance with relevant accreditation(s).
- 7 to 10 years of relevant tax experience, including a mix of Big 4 and In-house Commercial Tax experience.
- Strong foundation in tax technical knowledge (direct and indirect taxes, and transfer pricing regulations).
- Excellent communication, people management, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail and the bigger picture.
- Self-starter team player thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment.
