Key Responsibilities

  • Performs structural analysis and designs of marine structures including ships, offshore platforms and other marine structures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
  • Experience with structural analysis of offshore wind turbines, oil & gas platforms, and subsea structures and marine vessels
  • Proven experience in structural analysis and design of marine structures
  • Knowledge of marine construction techniques and materials
  • Proficiency in using FEA software such as DNV Sesam, ANSYS, ABAQUS, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of marine structural codes and standards (e.g., DNV GL, ABS, ISO)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
