Key Responsibilities
- Conduct architectural investigations and implementation for circuits including PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, and CDRs.
- Perform design verification using industry-standard tools such as SPICE, Spectre, and MATLAB to meet key performance targets.
- Carry out layout activities in nanometric technologies and supervise physical design aspects.
- Work independently or with test engineers to characterize, debug, and validate designs in the lab.
- Generate design-related documents and application specifications.
- Support customers and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) as needed.
- Interface with digital and SOC teams to facilitate design integration and cross-functional verifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 5-10 years of professional experience.
- Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 3-5 years of experience (alternative qualification).
- Hands-on experience designing mixed signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, Bandgap bias circuits, and regulators.
- Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
- Proficiency in IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, and Verilog.
- Lab testing skills to evaluate prototype units against design specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
