Key Responsibilities
- Drive supplier production readiness reviews covering process capability, yield maturity, reliability readiness, and traceability.
- Own supplier quality for optical processes including die attach, fiber attach, active alignment, underfill, and sealing.
- Own supplier KPIs including yield, optical parametric stability, defect PPM, escapes, and on-time delivery.
- Drive SPC and process capability improvements on optical processes and materials.
- Define risk-based incoming inspection strategies for photonic devices, passives, and optical subassemblies.
- Lead supplier-related failure analysis for optical, electrical, and packaging failures in partnership with internal and external FA labs.
- Drive root cause analysis using optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical techniques.
- Manage supplier PCNs and process changes impacting photonic devices, materials, or optical packaging flows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Optical, Materials, Mechanical, or related field).
- 10+ years experience in supplier quality, photonics manufacturing, or advanced packaging quality.
- Hands-on experience with optical or photonic manufacturing processes.
- Strong background in SPC, root-cause analysis, and CAPA.
