Requirements
- Student in Ph.D degree program
- Solid understanding of semiconductor optical devices such as modulators, detectors, lasers and other waveguide devices
- Familiarity or direct experience in the standard Si/CMOS process technologies required for fabrication of electro-optical devices
- Familiarity or direct experience of optical simulation software tools and/or optical device modeling
- Ability to present the data and ideas to a diverse audience
