Key Responsibilities
- Set up, bring up, and maintain automated test platforms for calibration and characterization of optical transceivers, electro-optic components, or high-speed electronic subsystems.
- Develop and enhance test automation software, including calibration routines, characterization flows, and verification test flows.
- Perform test data validation and basic analysis.
- Debug and resolve issues spanning test software, instrumentation, hardware, and DUT behavior.
- Collaborate closely with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to improve test robustness, coverage, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Communications, or related field with 2–5 years of experience in optical component or high-speed link testing; OR Bachelor’s degree with 5–7+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to debug complex technical problems.
- Hands-on engineering experience in Software/Test Automation, C/C++, or equivalent.
- Experience automating instruments, test flows, or data processing.
- Understanding of signal integrity fundamentals (S-parameters, impedance matching, reflections, channel behavior).
- Familiarity with Optical Transceivers/Optical Systems or optical communication components.
