Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-throughput experiments for biomarker discovery using clinical samples, including miRNA RT-qPCR profiling (RNA isolation, reverse transcription, qPCR) and NGS workflows (nucleic acid extraction, library preparation, sequencing).
- Conduct literature searches and design/execute experiments for the development, optimization, and validation of biomarker discovery technologies.
- Maintain accurate inventory of clinical samples and manage procurement of consumables and reagents.
- Collect, organize, and maintain accurate experimental records for downstream data analysis.
- Perform supporting experiments such as ELISA or Western blotting as required for biomarker discovery.
- Write and support the preparation of technical reports, SOPs, and documents.
- Validate procedures for instrument testing, quality control, and generate final reports.
- Provide experimental and technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in a related Science discipline.
- At least 1 year of molecular biology experience (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of integrity, dependability, and prioritization.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and make sound judgments based on timely analysis.
- Good verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
