Key Responsibilities

  • Design and construct regional green field projects in alignment with global standards, collaborating with central sustainability, cost, construction, and line planning teams.
  • Provide engineering support for site projects, including Alpha to Beta technology transfers and sustainability initiatives.
  • Review and approve capital expenditures for site capacity expansion and sustainability projects.
  • Serve as the single point of contact between regional sites and GFC central teams, providing alignment on metrics reporting.
  • Act as the technical lead for a global cross-functional team focused on project execution, design, construction, and operational excellence regarding site I&C systems.
  • Provide expert technical support for each site's Facility I&C, SCADA, IOT, and TGM systems regarding operational and maintenance capabilities.
  • Drive improvements in utility quality through variation reduction (SPC) and align on common methodologies like SPC, SIPP’s, MOC, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage for I&C systems across the network.
  • Oversee regional efforts to align strategic programs such as Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Critical Specifications.
  • Analyze and benchmark equipment performance to drive a Best-In-Class approach across the network.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading or actively involved in global facility engineering efforts.
  • Expert understanding of Facility I&C / SCADA / IOT / TGM systems operational and maintenance capabilities.
  • Ability to provide critical support, including on-site presence for construction projects and critical I&C failures.
  • Experience managing construction project metrics including schedule, cost control, and safety index.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within a large technical network.
  • Strong communication skills required for serving as the primary liaison between regional and central teams.
