Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of M&A, divestment, and capital raising transactions across the energy and infrastructure sector (buyside and sellside mandates).
  • Serve as a key execution resource on live transactions, coordinating workstreams and ensuring high-quality delivery to senior bankers and clients.
  • Assist in transaction structuring, feasibility assessment, and evaluation of strategic alternatives, articulating valuation, risk, and commercial implications.
  • Own the development, review, and interpretation of complex financial models (M&A valuation, acquisition/hold-co, project finance).
  • Prepare and review client-facing materials including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and internal committee discussions with structured analysis.
  • Coordinate and review financial, commercial, and technical due diligence findings into transaction analysis.
  • Analyze asset-level and portfolio-level performance across energy and infrastructure assets to identify value drivers and risks.
  • Conduct market, sector, and stakeholder analysis to identify potential transaction targets.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to support M&A transaction execution in the energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong proficiency in developing and interpreting complex financial models (e.g., M&A valuation, project finance).
  • Ability to translate quantitative financial outputs into clear investment recommendations.
