Key Responsibilities

  • Support compliance related activities for a HKEX listed company, including preparation and review of HKEX announcements, circulars, investor presentations and transaction-related disclosures.
  • Support the identification, evaluation and execution of corporate development initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, licensing arrangements and other inorganic growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and coordinate transaction documentation and approval materials, including investment memorandums, term sheets, JV agreements, MOUs, licensing agreements and related documents for management and Board consideration.
  • Coordinate with external advisers on transaction matters; these include investment banks, sponsors, lawyers, auditors, valuers and other professional advisers.
  • Maintain transaction trackers, internal approvals documentation and records for audit and governance purposes.
  • Undertake ad-hoc strategic and analytical projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
  • Prior exposure to the biomedical, healthcare or life sciences sector would be an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, audit, or strategy consulting.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines concurrently.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with internal and external parties
  • Exposure to M&A transactions, fundraising exercises or capital markets-related work is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial modelling, valuation methodologies and transaction processes is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to listed company environments and regulatory frameworks (e.g. HKEX Listing Rules) is an advantage.
