Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Automated Material Handling Systems to ensure continuous material flow.
- Monitor AMHS performance using control systems and dashboards, responding promptly to alarms and faults.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on conveyors, Overhead Transport (OHT), stockers, hoists, and related subsystems.
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedules and checklists, including inspections of mechanical, electrical, and sensor components.
- Replace worn or faulty parts such as belts, motors, sensors, and actuators.
- Identify root causes of AMHS malfunctions using diagnostic tools and system logs.
- Assist in start-up and shutdown procedures of the AMHS and support lot recovery operations.
- Follow strict cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical certification required.
- Ability to work at height using ladders, mobile platforms, and safety harness.
- 1–3 years of experience with automation equipment or AMHS systems in manufacturing/warehouse.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and high safety awareness.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
