Facilities Tool Install Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with tool-install contractors for equipment hookup during new, conversion, unhooking, and relocation projects to meet quality standards, schedule, and budget.
• Facilitate utilities release with Fab equipment owners according to the planned schedule and provide timely status updates.
• Adhere strictly to all safety and environmental procedures, including EHS regulations, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and the permit to work system.
• Actively participate in safety discussions, training, and safe work practices.
• Conduct regular area walks to identify opportunities for improving safety, cleanliness, housekeeping, and efficiency.
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with peers and vendors involved in tool installation.
• Keep the Supervisor informed regarding work progress and any observed abnormalities.
• Perform tool-related utilities and cleanroom systems troubleshooting.
• Execute utilities turn-on upon completion of installation.
