Key Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and establish new equipment design and capability requirements based on technology roadmaps.
- Develop creative solutions for new equipment capabilities to address constraints or future technology needs.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers to develop and implement new capabilities for production equipment.
- Maintain a matrix of key equipment platform capability and constraints (Equipment Maturity Index - EMI & Tool of Records - TOR) for current and new platforms.
- Plan and submit capital requests necessary for acquiring new equipment.
- Conduct data gathering for low volume production and provide training for Site representatives.
- Drive continuous improvement projects by collaborating with Production and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) teams on existing equipment enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven ability to evaluate and qualify complex, highly automated equipment platforms.
- Ability to define technical requirements aligned with a product roadmap.
- Experience in supplier management and collaboration on technology roadmaps.
- Familiarity with equipment maturity metrics (e.g., EMI, TOR) is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical constraints in advanced packaging technology.
- Ability to manage project handover processes from development to mass production.
- Experience in technical documentation, including purchasing specifications and qualification reports.
