Key Responsibilities
- Develop measurement recipes to provide quick and accurate feedback on product integrity, proactively solving yield or quality issues.
- Apply advanced analytics to identify and address deviations in machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Design experiments to pinpoint defect sources and formation mechanisms, driving defectivity improvement projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse engineering departments to implement breakthrough solutions for defectivity improvement.
- Utilize innovative inspection tools for advanced defect detection in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Implement sampling methodologies for proactive deviation detection and efficient root cause identification.
- Support Fab operations through data analysis, providing actionable recommendations for process changes and cost reduction.
- Develop projects to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce measurement variability, and increase machine availability.
Requirements
- Proven ability to apply advanced analytics in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting and control limit setting.
- Familiarity with defect detection in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on yield and quality impact.
- Ability to collaborate with equipment suppliers and internal teams to overcome technical challenges.
- Willingness to train team members on recipe maintenance, troubleshooting, and tool recovery.
