Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account teams and customers to understand technology roadmaps, process flows, and business challenges to identify value-add opportunities for Lam.
- Execute penetration and defense strategies alongside the Account team, coordinating product demonstrations with the Global Product Group.
- Perform startup of 'capacity add' Lam systems, matching results to existing applications and systems.
- Design and execute simple Design of Experiment (DOE) evaluations to characterize process windows for new installations or hardware modifications.
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and generate comprehensive reports for internal and external distribution.
- Develop new processes tailored to both new and existing customer applications.
- Serve as a professional company representative, keeping customers informed about product lines and services when new needs arise.
- Maintain assigned company equipment, including diagnostic tools and spare parts, in excellent working condition.
Requirements
- PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or related field; OR Master of Science with 3+ years of relevant work experience; OR Bachelor of Science with 5+ years of work experience.
- Possess a systematic and analytical mindset.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to actively engage customers regarding technical solutions.
- Willingness and ability to work in a Fab environment and perform standby duties.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective clothing (air respirator, clean room garments, safety shoes).
- Willingness to support short-term overseas assignments.
