Key Responsibilities
- Lead program level deliverables and related dependencies
- Define and lead key product deliverables and schedules, driving cross-functional activities to achieve high-quality deliverables for internal teams and customers
- Provide program leadership and report regularly to executives on status, decisions, and solutions to issues during execution
- Foster relationships with program, development, QA, and validation teams while leading expectations of internal and external teams
- Align with AMD cross-functional teams on requirements, schedules, and deliverables, and communicate the same
- Coordinate hardware and silicon sampling ordering to meet committed deliverables
- Develop program schedules by considering dependencies, negotiating and creating plans that support the schedule
- Build, create, and maintain a well-developed, managed, and executed program plan
- Establish formal program management artifacts including a plan of record, project/program timelines, requirements, and scope
- Identify program risks and coordinate with stakeholders on mitigation plans
- Initiate significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiencies
Requirements
- Program Management experience in a dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within Software Development or Engineering based organizations
- Semiconductor-based program management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to deliver program goals
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to prioritize and balance multiple work streams to tight deadlines
- Strong knowledge of productivity and project tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and PowerBI reporting tools
- Proven leadership ability to create and maintain a working cross-functional team and skill in managing in a matrixed environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Outstanding people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world-class engineers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to structure and execute complex analysis, draw insights, and communicate summary findings with recommendations to senior management and AMD customers
- Ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization
- Ability to assess and scope requirements and features and relate them to overall program schedule
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
