Key Responsibilities

  • Perform silicon characterization and analysis to develop Product Definition that meets customer requirements and supports Yield and Cost targets.
  • Interface with Foundry, Design, and Test Engineering to support product yield and drive development execution from validation through production release.
  • Interface with US product groups, design, platform validation, BIOS and test engineers on root cause resolution for device failures along with power and performance settings.
  • Oversee device and process reliability, assess implications of stress-testing outcomes, balance business and quality/reliability requirements for Products and Processes in question.
  • Set goals, plan and coordinate (data analysis, debug, root-cause, implementing solutions) yield improvement activities.
  • Provide timely debug for customer reported issues, assist customer and quality teams to provide resolutions.

Requirements

  • 7yrs or more experience in the semiconductor industry and worked on NPI.
  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines.
  • Analytical Thinker: able to assess problems, plan for experiments/next steps and drive team to execute.
  • Data Analytics: able to understand complex data and draw technical conclusions to drive the next steps.
  • Experience working with Foundry, Product, and Test teams to drive yield performance from validation through production release.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, able to work effectively with distributed product engineering teams.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and demonstrates the characteristics of an independent and resourceful individual.
  • Experience with NPI teams and a strong understanding of the product development ecosystem.
