Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop reliability stress, test flows, and test plans covering all Product Reliability aspects.
  • Drive down Extrinsic Reliability (Time 0 and Field DPM) and Intrinsic Reliability through optimized Manufacturing Test Flows and Test Strategy to meet critical KPIs.
  • Debug and identify root causes of failures in reliability tests using Electric Failure Analysis (EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA), driving resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide recommendations to fab teams regarding new process conversions to reduce cost and increase yields, directly impacting product quality and reliability.
  • Manage risks associated with DPM process conversions in communication with Product Managers/Leads to balance innovation pace with stability.
  • Promote innovation and drive technical changes that provide a competitive advantage for Micron in the HBM market.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth within the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in reliability testing and failure analysis for advanced memory products (HBM preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive DPM reduction through process and test flow optimization.
  • Strong understanding of intrinsic and extrinsic reliability concepts in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience leading technical projects from concept through execution and resolution.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Fab, TD, and GQ teams on process conversions.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis using failure analysis techniques (EFA/PFA).
  • Experience managing technical risks associated with high-volume manufacturing (HVM) processes.
