Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with relevant Singapore authorities (BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB, MOM, URA, LTA, JTC/EDB).
- Manage the preparation and submission of all statutory documentation with architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Track approval statuses, manage revision cycles, and ensure timely responses to authority comments.
- Monitor project compliance with key acts including the Building Control Act, Fire Code, and Environmental Protection & Management Act.
- Plan and coordinate statutory inspections to ensure the timely issuance of permits such as TOP, CSC, and FSC.
- Identify regulatory risks that could impact project cost or schedule and escalate critical issues to senior management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Singapore industrial or large infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing approvals for complex facilities (e.g., manufacturing plants, data centres).
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore statutory processes and regulatory submissions.
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with government bodies like BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB, and URA.
- Understanding of Building Control regulations and Fire Code requirements.
