Key Responsibilities

  • The position is part of the Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer ("AML/KYC") – Customer Onboarding and Review ("CORE") team within the COO Office in IBG.
  • The CORE team is a centralized specialist team established to scale independent, quality and effective management of money laundering / terrorist financing risks during onboarding and Customer Due Diligence ("CDD") reviews.
  • The Candidate is expected to lead a team responsible for KYC on higher risk entities in the Digital Asset Ecosystem and Payment Service Providers industries.

Requirements

  • -hoc AML/KYC projects/initiatives as necessary Requirements - Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experience in both onboarding and review of corporate and/or financial institution customers in the banking industry - Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner - Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with a good sense of the business environment and attention to detail - Experienced people manager, and strong team player with ability to foster trust and rapport with team members - Ability to manage a diverse group of internal stakeholders to drive discussions and achieve balance between operational efficiency and risk management effectiveness - Ability to be client centric while balancing risk and controls - Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity - Experience in onboarding and review of corporate and/or financial institution customers in the banking industry (specifically KYC on higher-risk entities in Digital Asset Ecosystem and Payment Service Providers industries).
  • Proficiency in data-driven approaches to managing AML/KYC risks and processes.
  • Ability to monitor, review, and report on AML/KYC management information (e.g., risk and efficiency indicator metrics).
  • Experience in building training material and operational guidelines.
