Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical & mechanical systems including Monorail Train, 22kV switchgear, HV transformers, Traction Rectifiers/Inverters, battery chargers, UPS System, and traction power contact lines.
- Comply with all relevant procedures and safety requirements during maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with Quality objectives documented in QP, WIs, SWP, RAs, Task lists & checklists.
- Maintain spares, tools, and equipment in good condition and ensure necessary calibration.
- Operate ground support equipment safely as assigned by supervisors.
- Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to improve productivity and value of work.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and high standards of work discipline in all operational areas.
Requirements
- Nitec or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of relevant working experience in railway maintenance (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Mechanical specialization).
- Ability to perform rotating shift work based on the duty roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
- Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
