Key Responsibilities
- Automate and implement highly available and resilient platforms in the cloud.
- Maintain and extend the codebase for an on-market SaaS genomic application, improving robustness and performance.
- Write and peer review automation code to create a flexible and scalable codebase.
- Develop solutions to optimize cloud operations regarding cost management, time to market, security, and privacy.
- Troubleshoot incidents and create tools to resolve operational issues.
- Apply state-of-the-art cloud best practices, including automated logging, diagnostics, and autoscaling.
- Be part of the follow-the-sun on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Programming skills in Python, Go, Ruby, Bash, and/or various scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise AI solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, and AWS Bedrock.
- Expertise in administration, configuration, optimization, and monitoring of Linux at scale (CentOS, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, routing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with public cloud deployment and support (AWS or Azure).
- Skilled in implementing monitoring tools like Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
