Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the General Counsel, Singapore and as a member of Singapore Legal Leadership team, act as the accountable lawyer to key enterprise and Global Infrastructure stakeholders on all material legal issues

  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and transaction documentation (e.g., underwriting, receivables purchase, credit, confidentiality, engagement and commitment letters)
  • Identify legal, regulatory and market developments impacting the business and educate teams on implications
  • Keep senior legal management briefed on major issues and legislative changes; maintain strong stakeholder relationships; recommend panel law firms/external advisers; and uphold fair customer outcomes and market integrity

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with 10+ years' post-qualification experience
  • Experienced, confident practitioner with strong commercial and legal judgement
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, adaptability and sound judgment
  • International mindset and understanding of regional legal and regulatory landscape
  • Broad risk management focus
  • Able to manage a diverse range of issues, handle ambiguity and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong lateral thinking and problem-solving capability
