Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end customer and RM journeys, shaping new system and product designs to enhance wealth platform capabilities and client experience.
  • Define and execute strategies to grow the wealth proposition, including commercialisation of wealth products and platforms across non-face-to-face channels (e.g., Mobile, PIB, PWS), driving digital adoption, penetration, and RM usage.
  • Act as the business lead for wealth platform and journey initiatives for new capabilities including compliance and regulatory deliverables: manage existing platforms, deliver programmes/projects on time and within budget, and partner closely with Change Delivery, Transformation, IT and key business stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable value, align with HSBC strategy, and are scalable and reusable across platforms and markets.
  • Implement local and global Wealth strategies in-country, driving product, pricing, promotion, platform, and channel strategy for digital wealth.
  • Monitor platform and product performance, customer feedback, competitor activity, and regulatory developments; lead governance for online journeys (execution-only and advised) and manage associated risks.
  • Oversee country product governance (e.g., product panels), ensuring compliance with Group policies, managing approvals and changes, and tracking risk and performance.
  • Embed customer-centric ways of working (e.g., design thinking), define KPIs with stakeholders, and lead continuous improvements to customer experience and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong wealth management experience across wealth product and platforms, wealth/digital transformation, sales/client facing role, ideally within a leading private client/wealth management firm.
  • Proven delivery of complex initiatives using agile ways of working, partnering effectively with technology and change teams.
  • Demonstrable commercial track record, with disciplined execution and the ability to make sound trade-off decisions and define and measure success of the capabilities launched.
  • Effective people and stakeholder management in a matrix environment, able to influence and gain alignment across geographies with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), able to translate complex topics into clear messages for varied audiences.
  • Strong change mindset and continuous improvement approach, with experience building internal/external networks to enable collaboration.
