Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates for industrial automation projects.
  • Identify project stakeholders, establish clear communication channels, and manage expectations to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, operational requirements, and technical specifications for automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs for automation systems, including hardware, software, and control strategies. Deploy Corporate automation standard defined and contribute to its development and improvement.
  • Evaluate and select automation vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and compatibility with project requirements.
  • Lead the execution of automation projects, overseeing all aspects of implementation, testing, commissioning, and deployment to ensure successful delivery within schedule and budget.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with automation projects, develop mitigation plans, and monitor project progress to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards, testing procedures, and validation protocols to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of automation systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth adoption and operation of automation solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, test reports, and change orders, and provide regular progress updates and status reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial system engineering, computer science, automation, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Min. 5 years proven experience in project management, specifically in the implementation of industrial automation projects.
  • Deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, robotics, industrial data capturing, VSM and MES/MOM software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in industrial automation
  • Proven experience with process optimization, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing principles is a plus
  • Experience with industry relay out project or vendors management is a plus
  • Strong disposition toward continuous learning, self-starter and passionate on automation to achieve business objectives
