Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company environmental safety health policy, SOPs, risk assessments, and quality policies during all tasks.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on controls equipment, gas detection gear, fire alarm systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system abnormalities, assisting or leading system recovery efforts when necessary.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for continuous improvement, including installation/modification of instrumentation and controls systems.
  • Document and analyze maintenance work orders, equipment history, and project tracking using computer-based software.
  • Track and monitor inventory for equipment spare parts and consumables.
  • Provide feedback on design concepts during construction phases and conduct site supervision for new capital equipment installations.
  • Coordinate and supervise contract service providers to ensure work aligns with the defined scope and system requirements.
  • Perform rectification works independently.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Instrumentation/Control Engineering or related field/experience.
  • In-depth understanding of facility instruments, gas detectors, variable speed drives, and fire alarm systems.
  • Good understanding of electrical equipment and PLC wiring concepts interfacing with instruments/gas detectors.
  • Knowledge of calibration and measurement tools.
  • Basic PLC programming knowledge.
  • Ability to read system schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
