Key Responsibilities
- Develop or update solution architecture drawings and diagrams, cost templates (devis), the List of Supply (LOS) / Bill of Materials (BOM), and interfaces at the start of the project.
- Develop or update network contributions to the Solution Specification and Design documentation, Network Acceptance Test Procedures, and other associated network integration documents.
- Define equipment configuration for the ATM solution(s) and coordinate with Hardware Deployment and Integration management for assembly of the ATM system and interface with Tools Engineering, Customer Service and Site Services departments where necessary to accomplish this task.
- Load, configure, validate, and hand over equipment to Software Integration in the factory and on customer sites.
- Support configuration changes to system platforms in factory and customer sites.
- Proactively support Project Design Reviews.
- Provide customer training.
- Identify risks at solution architecture level and propose where possible alternate validated solutions.
- Provide system and networking expertise.
- Follow and contribute to the development and enhancement of engineering processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Cisco formal certifications (CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in similar positions on projects delivering complex software-centric real-time systems.
- Proven experience in leading small teams.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of infrastructure and network architectures.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of network architectures in line with security standards and policies.
- Sound level of knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux Operating System (Red Hat distribution preferred).
- Familiarity with a wide range of computer and networking hardware (Cisco preferred).
- Scripting skills (TCL/TK, Perl, and Shell).
- Ability to work on multiple activities concurrently and effectively self-manage with autonomy.
- Experience with collective decision-making and conflict resolution.
- Capability to manage various stakeholders with different objectives.
- Proven capability to work in a multi-cultural environment and with a variety of international customers.
- Aptitude to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary integrated team environment.
