Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop smart manufacturing and AI solutions in advanced factory scheduling, optimization, and simulation to achieve industry-leading manufacturing capability.
- Develop high-quality data analytics and applications that provide actionable insights for management and manufacturing teams.
- Manage development priorities based on evolving business needs and mission objectives.
- Lead a team in exploring new frontiers of ideas, concepts, and technology to enable breakthrough solutions at Micron.
- Collaborate with senior management, cross-functional departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify optimization opportunities and drive continuous production metric improvements.
- Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or other quantitative disciplines with a strong emphasis on optimization, simulation, and algorithmic problem-solving.
- At least 5 years of working experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a technical team while collaborating across diverse departments and cultures.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to develop and manage worldwide business processes.
- Strong drive to make a difference and a passion for exploring new frontiers in manufacturing technology.
