Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll promptly and accurately according to company policies and local statutory requirements.
- Ensure all payroll data feeds and employee transactions are complete, validated, and submitted for timely processing.
- Administer statutory and tax-related submissions (e.g., IR21, IR8A) and manage billing activities accurately.
- Submit government-related claims such as NS reservist, childcare leave, and maternity leave grants within required timelines.
- Manage payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Investigate and resolve payroll escalations by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Review existing payroll processes to recommend improvements in workflow efficiency, compliance, planning, and data quality.
- Participate in payroll enhancement and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Singapore employment regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas relevant to payroll, including Macro development.
- Highly meticulous, process-oriented, and service-driven with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
