Key Responsibilities

  • Design and construct regional green field projects aligned with global standards, collaborating with central sustainability, cost, construction, and line planning teams.
  • Provide engineering support for site projects, including Alpha to Beta technology transfer and sustainability initiatives.
  • Review and approve site capacity expansion and sustainability capital expenditures (capex).
  • Provide engineering support for site system improvement projects, including System Reliability Improvements and Equipment EOL replacements.
  • Serve as the single point of contact between regional sites and GFC central teams.
  • Actively lead a global cross-functional team focused on project, design, construction, and operational excellence for site Electrical systems.
  • Drive improvement in utility quality through variation reduction (SPC) and align on common methodologies like SIPP’s, MOC, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage for Electrical systems across the network.
  • Provide critical support to all sites, including on-site presence for construction projects and during critical Electrical failures.

Requirements

  • Expert understanding of each site's Electrical systems operational and maintenance capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage construction projects with focus on schedule, cost control, and safety index.
  • Experience leading or actively involved in global facility engineering efforts.
  • Ability to provide business-driven decisions on Facilities Reliability Improvement project capex.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the network.
  • Strong communication skills to serve as a liaison between regional and global teams.
