Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the implementation of automation on testers: Understand the automation architecture (equipment capabilities, targeted test item, programming used – LabView or others). From the testing flow (control input to product, and anticipated output of product), construct the programing flow of the tester, complete the LabView programing Draft (including GUI) and test run the automated tester, buy-off by supervisor. Qualified the automated tester (record the data, and document as qualification report). Draft the work instructions, for others test engineers to use/maintain the automated tester. Conduct training for other users (test /designer) to use the automated tester.
- Validation Test Support (Under Supervision): Assist Test Leader/Engineer in executing Validation test (process). Actively using laboratory tool (TERA – validation request, record, report) to complete the validation test cycle. Include all the documentation for the completion of the validation test (receiving of product, label of product under test, perform test, record result, draft report, keeping/dispose product after test). Independently perform simple validation test (validate on changes of product marking, datasheet/catalogue/instruction change).
- Support in the maintenance of equipment/lab facilities: Support Metrology Engineer in preparation of equipment for external calibration (including meeting external supplier). Perform equipment maintenance when necessary (under supervision of Metrology Engineer). Perform lab facilities maintenance (water leakage system, compressor maintenance etc.).
- Departmental activities: Support or even leading some of the BU (Business Unit) common activities such as team building, department meeting etc.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow Schneider Electric's safety protocols and site rules at all times. Assist in verifying that site work complies with quality, safety, and installation procedures.
- Learning & Development (Internship Focus): Learn project execution workflows, engineering processes, Validation Test Flow. Gain exposure to product qualification process, in an accredited laboratory environment. Participate in job shadowing with project test leaders and Metrology Engineer. Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning and improving technical skills.
