Key Responsibilities
- Investigate defects by working closely with Operations and Maintenance staff from the Lines and other engineering departments.
- Develop methods, propose modifications, and improve maintenance strategies to rectify identified issues.
- Analyze and trend condition monitoring and defect data to proactively identify reliability concerns.
- Draft technical work instructions for both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Identify and implement cost-effective technologies to enhance the performance of SMRT Signaling, Communication & Control Systems.
- Support LTA and SMRT projects by reviewing design specifications to ensure adequacy regarding safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability.
- Identify and report any safety concerns within the workplace.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Comfortable working hands-on in maintenance workshops alongside technical staff.
- Willingness to work in SMRT lines or Maintenance Depots, including rotating or fixed shifts.
